Knott's Berry Farm!
Every year the school takes a trip to Knott's Berry Farm for all of the children who make honor roll. Our girls made honor roll all four quarters so they got to go free. We took the boys and made a family day of it! Benjamin was only 12 days old so I was spoiled all day (Scott pushed me in a wheel chair!)

Jacob did not like this ride!

This was like the tea cup ride (spinning)...just before we got on, a kid threw up and we had to wait for it to be cleaned up before we could ride!

I have to take a minute to brag on the girls. Holly tried to ride several big rides, but she wasn't tall enough yet. Katherine rode The Revolution and Ghost Rider. Megan rode the same ones as Katherine plus Montezuma's Revenge and Supreme Scream! I have to admit I was doing quite a bit of screaming from the ground...watching my baby's feet dangling all high up in the air...then watching her drop so far, so fast...I never thought I would be so worried about her on a ride!

William was trying to help!

Scott and his barbeque ribs!
Mom and her pie!

At the end of the day, Scott took William (I thought he was taking him on a ride or something.) When he came back this is what he looked like. I have to admit I never liked the whole face painting thing...I think its kinda creepy!
The end of our day and I think my Dad and Grandpa are as tired as I am!

We spent about 10 hours there and it was worth it! The children had so much fun and we are looking forward to next year!

Baby Benjamin...
here at last!
He was born Saturday, May 23rd, at 12:35pm.
As most of you already know he was induced.
I was very worried about how it would go,
but everything went fairly well! Once they
started my labor it only took 2 1/2 hours.
I am very glad to be home again and the
children are constantly wanting to hold their
new brother! Even the Marines seem to enjoy
our newest addition!

My little jealous boy! He was a little crabby that day...
I think he must realize he's not the baby anymore.

Here he is one day old and already found his thumb!

Handprints!
One of our Marines brought William to me, his hands covered with mud. I quickly cleaned him up and thanked Stephen for bringing him to me before he could do any damage...then I found this! Oh well, I guess it could have been worse right?

Car Wash!

I decided to let the children help me suprise Daddy and wash the van! It was very hard keeping up with them! I tried to keep washing off the soap before it dried and likewise keeping the water from drying on the van. Then they would rewash an area that was all ready done. Finally, I decided to just have fun and it became much more enjoyable that way! So for better or worse the van was finally clean!
